Katarina Witt measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Katarina Witt started ice skating when she was five. It was not long before her abilities became apparent and then in Karl-Marx-Stadt she was accepted into an institution specifically designed for children with athletic abilities. This is where she met their teacher Jutta M ller. Witt made her mark by finishing second at the 1982 World Championships, held in Copenhagen. Since then, her grace and elegance attracted the attention of everyone. She began to dominate the sport. Olympic triumph Katarina (now Witt) took home the women's Figure Skating gold medal at Sarajevo in the Sarajevo Winter Games. A few years later, she won an even tougher competition. In fact, she did not win the contest for free skating, but won gold based on performances during the compulsory figure and short programme. Witt was the first female to take home a gold medal in both women's and men's figure-skating ever since Sonja Hiene. Hall of Fame Witt was allowed to resume skating following her successes as a movie actor. She took part in the Lillehammer Winter Games, 1994. Though she failed to take home a single gold medal, she was awed by fans even with her seventh place finish. Witt got her induction into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame on the 15th of April, 1995.
