Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, a well-known actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to the play school and watching her mom do her job. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials as a young child. In 1997, she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. She then relocated to Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married at a civil ceremony that was held in December. In Fredericton on April 10th 2011they renewed their vows following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she landed the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans her good information that she was pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she is ready to resume work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren the actress (Zoie) one of their most favored television couple. Entertainment Television.
